Kitchen Renovation Guide

Your dream kitchen starts here.

A beautifully designed kitchen doesn't just improve your cooking space it transforms your home. As the true heart of the home, a new kitchen brings style, flow and functionality that lifts your everyday living and adds lasting value.

Initial Consultation and what to consider:

We begin with a conversation about your goals, space and style.

Photos of your current space and what you're hoping to achieve are always helpful before our initial in-home consult, this helps us prepare for our meeting.

Inspiration photos are also welcome; this gives us an idea of your preferred style.

Things to consider:

  • Kitchen Layout:
Are you keeping the existing footprint, or planning to change the layout? Altering the layout may require additional trades and flooring adjustments.

  • Flooring:
Will your current flooring suit the new design? If you're changing the footprint, consider whether new flooring will be needed under updated cabinetry or walls.

  • Appliances:
Are you planning to keep your existing appliances or invest in new ones? Appliance choices can affect cabinetry dimensions and design.

  • Cabinetry Finishes:
Would you prefer a 2-pac painted finish for a seamless, high-end look, or prefinished laminate which offers a wide range of modern colours and finishes with excellent durability and easy maintenance.

  • Benchtop Material:
Choose from engineered stone, natural granite, or postform laminate — each offering different styles, durability, and price points.

We'll talk you through what's possible and all the options for your space and help guide you towards the best design choices for your home and lifestyle.

Tips

Colour selections:

Take home physical samples to view colour selections in your homes lighting, most suppliers allow you to order them online also. This ensures confidence in your selections.

Alternative cooking arrangements:

During installation your kitchen will be temporarily out of use. We recommend preparing a temporary set up with your preferred appliances to ensure minimal disruption to your daily routine.
